Apple recently announced a new patent titled 'Camera attachment and image data processing for temperature measurement'. It may allow the iPhone to analyze images and process them into temperatures in the future.

This patented invention doesn't appear to be attached to the iPhone, but rather as an accessory that can be attached when measuring temperature. which the camera body is the part that put all the technology related to temperature measurement The camera body includes the temperature reactive material (TRM) that is integrated into the camera body.
The camera frame will position the TRM in line with the camera's field of view. And make the captured image have a TRM part attached to it and allow the iPhone to analyze the temperature of the part taken through the camera.
